Regina students and postdocs Mia Bell and Stacey Bliss, along with Faculty member Dr. Rebecca Caines attended the recent Summer Institute for Critical Studies in Improvisaiton held in Gaspe, Quebec. This was a fantastic opportunity for all involved to meet researchers and new students from across the IICSI sites, as well as welcoming some of the new cohort in our brand new MA/PHD program in Critical Studies in Improvisation at the University of Guelph.Students attended the At Land's End Music Camp, and had lectures and workshops from leading shcolars and practittioners in the field. A final showcase presented music, performance, installation and academic presentations.
